Mobile Web Client Installation

The Nabbit browser application runs in a Web browser on your phone. You do not need to install any software on your phone to use this application. There is, however, a setup process you will need to go through to bookmark the URL on your phone so you can easily open the application to Nabb your songs.

Suggested methods to get the Nabbit URL stored on your phone.

Try each numbered item below until you have successfully opened and bookmarked the Nabbit site on your phone. On some phones just following step #1 will get you up and running with Nabbit. Other phones will require you to follow the additional steps. Note that for any of these steps to work, you need to be able to successfully surf the web from your phone. To test this, key in a common web address into your phone such as www.google.com and do a search on a word such as "Radio". If Google returns results, you should be ready to follow the installation guide below. If you are unable to open www.google.com and perform a search, you will need to contact your Cell Provider for assistance. We have carefully ordered the steps from the easiest installation methods to the more difficult. If you have questions, please email support@nabbit.com for additional assistance.

From your phone navigate to where you can enter a URL. If you need assistance finding the Web Browser area on your phone please either contact your Cell Provider or refer to your manual. Key in m.nabbit.com and proceed to this website. If you successfully made it to this site, you will be asked for your mobile phone number and password. Please key in your phone number and password. After you login, try to bookmark the page. In rare cases phones may not allow you to bookmark a page you are viewing. If your phone does not allow you to bookmark this page, please proceed to #2 below. If you were able to bookmark your page, you are ready to start using Nabbit.

This method differs depending on the type of mobile phone you use. Using your mobile phone, first log into m.nabbit.com. Copy or take note of the URL provided after logging in. Then go to where you can store bookmarks on your mobile browser. Enter in the URL provided a moment ago to where your phone stores bookmarks. Nabbit should then be bookmarked for future use. If you need assistance on how to store a bookmark on your phone, please either contact your mobile service provider or refer to your phone’s manual. Nabbit currently does not provide users with a universal install method to create a bookmark for the Nabbit Web page, but can provide additional assistance for this installation process.

If you continue finding this method prohibitively difficult to key in the encrypted URL into the bookmark on your phone, you can key in a simpler version, however, this version will send your mobile number and password unencrypted over the Internet. Only use this option if you don’t care if others can view your password in plain text form. The easier, although much less secure URL, is m.nabbit.com/?u=1112223333&p=password where 1112223333 is YOUR mobile number and password is YOUR password.

If neither of the above 2 methods worked, you can always just go to the browser on your phone and key in the URL m.nabbit.com and enter your mobile phone number and password every time you start the application.
